By If your school uses Sentral, this is your main path for getting reports to parents. Publishing generates the student PDFs and uploads them into Sentral in one action – you don’t need to run Generate PDFs separately.
Before you start
Your Sentral API connection must be configured. If you see a “credentials are not configured” banner, click the cog (Sentral API settings) and enter your Sentral details first.
Publish
- Choose the Reporting Period.
- Choose the Year Groups to publish.
- Click Publish to Sentral. WAVE generates the PDFs and uploads them to Sentral.
- Watch progress in the jobs list – use Refresh to update the status.
Good to know
Because publishing already generates the PDFs, you only need Generate PDFs separately if you want a downloadable backup set, or if you’re not publishing to Sentral at all.
You’re done when
The publish job completes and the reports appear in Sentral for parents.
